Inspirations

There is an inspirations page on my "my space" page, which can be found by following the blog, but I thought I'd add some here, pictures of some of the things I find simply inspiring. My family is the most important thing/people to me, in my life, so they are always my biggest inspiration. Next in line, is Nature. I am so into nature it isn't funny. Landscapes, Sea Scapes, Forests, The Moon. Since I have a shamanistic (celtic) belief system, I find a lot of inspiration in study and meditation. Both things captivate me.  Pictures of Goddesses, Gods, mythical creatures, and stories about personal growth and enlightenment are also big inspirations.

Here I will share some of those inspirations- though I'm a writer, not a photographer LOL. Hope you enjoy.   NEW PICTURES! VALENTINE'S DAY 2009 SCROLL DOWN
And even more on page 2!
The Full Moon shot I took, the waves I did not but its awesome isn't it? This was the Cold Full Moon of Dec. 08
Beneath here is a graham cracker house my youngest just built this Dec. How could anyone NOT be inspired by that? :)
Last row- front and center - my singer... my middle son. Beneath is a picture of Lake Winnepesaukie with morning steam drifting up to great the day. The Astral Avenger book was partially inspired by scenes like this. Beside us here is my youngest with his brother at a Nascar race!
Another really inspiring activity is creating things. Below is a scrying mirror I created with crystals and runes. What is a scrying mirror? Email me and ask :) I have a serious passion for crystals and rocks and all things earthy (cept bugs maybe LOL) So I use crystals and candles in a lot of my "creative" projects.
I actually did take this picture. My husband and I got married just down this road in the middle of the woods camping at the foot of Mt. Washington. How cool is THAT! Beneath, is a picture of the Atlantic Coast in my glorious state of New Hampshire.
Some of our karate kids. I got the distinct honor of awarding a brown belt here to a student last year. My youngest is next door, a shot from last year, he is now a brown belt too! Below is another one of him, he's the happiest guy I know! :)
My guys at the Lost River Gorge. There are so many wonderful natural places to go around here, we have a great time!
Anyone ever see a tree turn a corner? I hadn't. LOL, this place has lots of 'turning trees'.
My first sunrise witnessed at the ocean on Valentine's Day 2009 in a wind chill of 2 degrees.  If these pictures aren't inspiring.... I don't know WHAT could be...
